The 150 foot luxury small ship carries up to 36 passengers in 18 well appointed cabins. Cabins feature king, queen or twin beds, a spacious private bath, view windows, DVD/TV, hair dryers, bathrobes and unique art pieces. Her crew of 16 will take care of your every need.

Featured amenities include: an on deck hot tub, a view sauna, complementary massages, exercise equipment, large screen TV/VCR in the salon, a well stocked book and video library, a full beam swim step for ease in boarding kayaks and inflatable shore boat, mountain bikes and a fully stocked bar with premium wine, beer and spirits.  The Safari Explorer provides a welcome sense of luxury without insisting on stuffiness. When you’re here, you’re home.

The Safari Explorer is exquisitely appointed with new design features such as an intimate Wine Library and spa area including a large hot tub, sauna, fitness equipment, yoga classes and complimentary massage.

All staterooms feature heated tile floors in the bathroom, Tempur-Pedic® memory foam mattresses, Flat-screen TV/DVD, and an iPod docking station.  All staterooms have view windows (no portholes).

What is more difficult to express is what you will gain from interacting with the staff of the Safari Explorer.  Captains, Chefs, Stewards, and expedition leaders are all individually selected not only for their outstanding customer service and safety skills, but also for their genuinely welcoming and enthusiastic personalities.  Expedition leaders are experienced naturalists with advanced training in natural and/or cultural history.  Executive Chefs create enticing meals, ensuring fresh and healthful dining experiences.  Whenever possible, our Chefs purchase fresh produce and seafood directly from local merchants.  Our customer service staff is made up of wonderful men and women who are as excited about where you're going as you are.  These individuals are the foundation of the enjoyment that you'll experience on board.  No matter where your travel, the Safari Explorer crew will make you feel as if you are the most important person in the world.
