For those looking for a stylish Galapagos adventure cruise, the 16-passenger Athala II provides an intimate small yacht atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, personalized service, a dedicated cruise director and fabulous cuisine.

This motor catamaran was specifically designed and built to cruise the Galapagos Islands providing comfort and excellent stability. Her size and speed allows passengers to travel farther and visit more islands. From albatrosses, tortoises and pelicans to iguanas, cormorants, sea lions, turtles, flamingos, sharks and whales, there is stunning wildlife to be seen at every site.

The Galapagos Islands offer a unique interaction with nature, and their name is synonymous with survival and the celebration of the diversity of species on earth. Situated 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, the archipelago consists of nineteen islands and more than forty islets. These were created six million years ago when they emerged from the Pacific in a flurry of volcanic activity. Today we are lucky to have the opportunity to visit some of those amazing islands thanks to the protection given to the islands in 1978, when UNESCO declared them a World Heritage Site.

Galapagos Athala II Cruise Itineraries

There are two unique 8-day/7-night Athala II Galapagos itineraries to choose from. When combined consecutively these two 8-day intineraries equal a 15-day/14-night all encompassing cruise with no repeated landing sites. There is also the option of excluding the last two cruise days of the Genovesa or Espanola itineraries to create a 6-day/5-night shorter excursion ending with the Charles Darwin Research Station. The 6-day Southwest cruise is the short version of the Espanola itinerary. The 6-day Northwest cruise is the short version of the Genovesa itinerary.
