Experience the ultimate tropical paradise at this private Belize island resort with Caribbean beaches and the world's second largest barrier reef just a snorkel away. Stay in cabanas only steps away from azure tropical waters. Snorkel, Scuba, kayak and swim among colorful coral, tropical fishes, sea turtles, rays and more. Two snorkel, kayak or dive trips are included each day. Choose from 3, 4 and 7 night packages to this lush Belize island resort. Combine your stay with a small ship cruise or nights at jungle lodges to make it a custom trip.

Day 1 - Belize City to Barrier Reef

Arrive at the Belize International Airport where you are greeted by a local representative and transferred to the Belize Tourism Village where you'll board a water taxi for the exhilarating trip to Belize's Barrier Reef. Weave through coconut-covered sand and mangrove islands to the outermost islands on the western side of Turneffe Atoll. Upon arrival check into your beachfront cabana and take a refreshing swim in the tranquil waters of the Caribbean. Dinner tonight is in the ocean view restaurant as the sun sets over azure Caribbean waters.

Days 2-3 - Island Caye & Barrier Reef

Spend your days snorkeling or optional Scuba diving one of the premier barrier reefs in the world. Snorkel from the beach in front of your cabana or join two guided excursions in the morning and afternoon. A variety of excellent snorkel and dive sites offers the opportunity to view colorful fish, beautiful coral, stingrays, eagle rays, barracuda, nurse sharks and much more. When not in the water our Island Caye Resorts offers kayaking and short walks. Fishing and SCUBA diving are available at an additional charge. Keep as busy as you wish, or slow down and relax among the tropical palms that encompass the resort.

Additional nights can be purchased to make 4 or day packages. Shorter trips can be combined with jungle lodges to make a custom trip or spend a full week away from it all.

Day 4 - Depart or Begin Trip Extension

Return to Belize City by boat. Upon arrival a local representative will transfer you to the Belize City International Airport for your departure. Or continue your Belize adventure with an exploration of jungle and Maya ruins.

Alternative Itinerary: This trip can be booked as a 3-, 4- or 7-night excursion.

Extend Your Trip: This trip combines well with packages to Belize's ruins and rainforest. Call for details.

Included: All land and sea transfers on scheduled transfer days, meals as indicated, air-conditioned double occupancy lodging, guided activities (varies by package) and use of resort kayaks. Dive package includes 3 dives per day, air, tanks, weights and belts. Snorkel package includes 2 guided trips per day. Dive/Snorkel package includes 4 days of diving and 2 days of snorkeling. Kayak package includes 2 guided sea kayaking trips per day. Days included exclude arrival/departure days. Equipment not specified as included is available for rent.

Exclusions: International airfare to/from the destination; excess baggage fees; the cost of obtaining passports; visas or tourist cards; airport arrival and departure taxes; hotel tax of $4.50 per person, per night; meals not specified in the itinerary; alcoholic beverages; personal expenses such as room service; beverages and laundry; personal communication charges; gratuities; dive/snorkel equipment rental.

Room Configurations: Accommodations include A/C, 2 queen or 2 double beds. Single supplement rates are an additional 30% of package rates. Triple rates are available please call.

Arrival & Departure: The Belize Island Adventure begins and ends in Belize City. Please plan flights to arrive any time on day 1 and depart in the afternoon on day 4 of the outlined itinerary from Belize City International Airport. Transfers to the island are Wednesdays or Saturdays only. If traveling on non specified transfer day, charters are available for an additional $400-$600. The transfer boat departs Belize City between 3:00pm & 4:00pm. Flights or transfers must arrive Belize City by 2:00pm in the winter months. Departure from the island is approximately 8:00am.

Payment & Cancellation: A $400 deposit is required to secure a reservation. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the trip. Per-person cancellation penalties are as follows, prior to departure date:

90+ days prior - $100 cancellation fee
89-60 days prior - lose original deposit
59-31 days prior - 50% of total trip fee
30 or less days prior - No refund, no credit

Activities: Trips to Belize's famous Blue Hole are available on the 4-night and 7-night packages only and require an additional $40 per person National Park entrance fee. Snorkeling and diving are options. Rental equipment fees are as follows:
