Galapagos Angel Review

AdventureSmith Explorations’ Galapagos Angel review includes a detailed description of the small ship including deck plans and a photo gallery. Our small ship cruise experts have been aboard nearly every first-class Galapagos cruise ship. Please read on for all about the Galapagos Angel then contact our small ship cruise experts to compare this yacht with other small cruise ships, yachts and catamarans offering private Galapagos yacht charters.

Choose the Galapagos Angel for an approachable yacht experience of the Galapagos Islands. The ship has an excellent guest-to-crew ratio, with 10 crew members to 16 guests creating an intimate and service-oriented experience. And notably, the Galapagos Angel is a part of a sustainably minded company that operates 100% carbon neutral cruises. For each passenger aboard the Angel, they offset 1.5 tons of carbon dioxide, protect 1 shark, collect 8 pounds of trash and train 2 kids in sustainability.

ONBOARD FACILITIES

The Galapagos Angel yacht features three decks, leaving ample space to make memories, gather with new friends and relax between active morning and afternoon excursions. Like all AdventureSmith’s first-class partner ships, this yacht features equipment that meets or exceeds the international safety standards: life vests, GPDS, sonar, naval radars, and fire detection and prevention systems. Hydraulic stabilizers make for a smooth ocean ride, plus WiFi onboard allows guests to stay connected.

Outdoor Common Areas

The Sun Deck features a Jacuzzi with wrap-around booth seating, along with loungers for sun bathing. At the stern of the ship is a swim platform and a Main Deck’s aft Porch offering a wraparound couch that’s protected from the wind. Below the bridge on the bow, enjoy bench seating for a captain’s view of the Islands.

Indoor Common Areas & Dining

The Main Deck features an intimate 388 square foot social area that includes an indoor dining room, lounge, TV, library and a coffee station. The Galapagos Angel yacht offers a varied menu, including international and local cuisines, designed to accommodate a variety of dietary needs including vegetarians. Special dietary needs can be accommodated if notified in advance of departure. Fresh juices, fruits, salads and desserts typically accompany each meal. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style while delicious and international dinners are plated.
