Arrival & Departure
The Explora Torres del Paine adventure begins and ends in Punta Arenas, Chile (PUQ). We highly recommend arriving one day prior to your trip start date in case of any flight delay, cancellation or lost luggage issues. Plan flights to arrive to Punta Arenas in time for pick-up’s scheduled at 10:00am and 3:00pm (or pre-book a pick-up departing the airport no later than 4:00pm at an additional fee, subject to a minimum of 4 travelers; ask your Adventure Specialist for details and pricing). Plan flights to depart Punta Arenas anytime after airport drop-off at 12:30pm, 3:00pm or 5:00pm on the final day (with advanced request, a half-day guided exploration may be available when checking out by 7:00am and leaving bags at the front desk; inquire with your Adventure Specialist for appropriate departure flight timing). If you would like assistance with international flights, please visit our Booking Flights resource page.
Arrival and departure transportation can also be arranged from several other locations, including Explora El Chaltén Lodge (8-9 hours), the Puerto Natales airport (PNT), the Chilean border in Cerro Castillo, the Argentinian border city of El Calafate, and hotels, at various times. Pick-up outside of scheduled times will incur an additional fee, which may be doubled for solo travelers if the transfer’s minimum guest count is not reached. Please inquire for details and locations.
