M/C Galapagos Seaman Journey is a first-class catamaran offering superior comfort, style and stability. Her maximum capacity of 16 passengers combined with the spaciousness of a catamaran enables both connection with shipmates and privacy.
Choose the Seaman Journey for a stable, roomy, sun-filled Galapagos journey. One of the best aspects of this yacht is that she is a catamaran. The multihull design of the Seaman Journey reduces rocking while under motor and at anchor, allowing for smoother sailing. The shallow draft of the catamaran’s hulls enables the ship to get closer to shore, and this design also creates more roomy cabins and spacious areas above deck, making the Seaman Journey an ideal Galapagos yacht. Families will appreciate the interactive, multimedia kids program. Finally, Seaman Journey uniquely offers a citizen science program, with opportunities for guests to document whales and penguins for scientific databases.
Our Galapagos experts have been aboard the Seaman Journey firsthand. The dining room and saloon/lounge area are on the main deck with large windows and doors to the outer deck. The Seaman Journey is touted as having one of the best sundecks in the Galapagos Islands with her teak deck, covered area and sun beds on the top deck.
Each meal on board the M/C Galapagos Seaman Journey features national and international dishes, prepared with the finest and freshest ingredients of the highest quality. In fact, most vegetables and fruits are grown on the boat operator’s organic farm, ensuring a varied and healthy menu. All meals are served buffet style and include choice of meat, chicken and seafood. There is also a vegetarian menu and other options for visitors with dietary restrictions. The chef may provide guests with a hands-on cooking lesson, such as making ceviche. Al fresco dining might be offered on occasion.
