Central America Belize Land Tour

Belize In Style

The 8-day Belize In Style tour is designed for the adventurous traveler interested in luxury comforts. Take in two vastly different destinations within Belize: Lamanai, a tropical low land waterway system in northern Belize with some of the richest biodiversity in the country, and Placencia, a charming Caribbean gateway to the largest reef system in the northern hemisphere.

Spend evenings in the world famous Lamanai Outpost Lodge, an isolated wilderness lodge that has been featured on shows such as Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic Explorer. The emphasis is on expert naturalist field guides and attentive staff. In Placencia, stay at the beachfront Chabil Mar Villas, a modern resort with villas that are more akin to finely decorated homes than mere hotel rooms. The mix of modern and luxurious accommodations and intimate excursions into some of the most pristine marine and land ecosystems in Latin America leaves travelers feeling refreshed and rejuvenated by the trip’s end. Those seeking to explore Belize up close and appreciate luxurious accommodations will enjoy Belize in Style.

Days 2 - 3
Explore Lamanai

Situated on the banks of a 28-mile-long, spring-fed lagoon amid the remnants of a major Maya city, the Lamanai Outpost Lodge is ideally positioned for explorations into the field. The area is yours to explore independently or by guided safari into some of the most remote habitats in Belize. Whether spotting toucan, manatee and jaguarondi while plying the waterways by boat or exploring ancient Maya temples on foot, experience a secluded world that few are fortunate enough to see. Each day choose two guided excursions into the surrounding wilderness. Just a few of the possible adventures include exploring the nearby savannah wetlands and tributaries in search of the nesting sites of the Morelet’s crocodile, a guided morning trek through the jungle, following troops of howler monkeys foraging in the canopies above, or visiting a local family for a traditional home-cooked Maya lunch. Regardless of the activities, the experiences are sure to be remembered for a lifetime.
