Sea Cloud II: Lindblad barque carries three masts with 23 total sails. She offers plenty of room to spread out with over 384 feet from bow to stern and wide passageways. And her engineering and materials make her very efficient when under wind power, with novel metal in the yards, special plastics in the rigging and sails, and above-average sizing of her masts and sails.
Common Areas & Activities
The elevated, segmented Sun Deck is a popular place to lounge on daybeds or in comfortable reclining teak chairs, with both sunny and shaded spaces. An open bridge invites travelers to meet the captain and crew, and learn the ins and outs of navigating Sea Cloud II: Lindblad.
The Lido Deck features a library stocked with reference materials that reflect the cultures, landscapes and wildlife through which Sea Cloud II: Lindblad sails. The library also offers board games and a computer with WiFi.
The Promenade Deck houses the boutique, staffed reception area and an elegant aft dining room. Finally, the Cabin Deck is equipped with a few guest amenities including a small gym with sauna and spa (with added-cost massage and beauty treatments on offer), and the medical room. A large swim platform enables jumps and dives directly into the sea, weather permitting. And snorkel equipment provides access to underwater wildlife.
Dining Aboard
The Sea Cloud II: Lindblad’s restaurant provides open seating for couples and groups of four, six and eight. The Lido Deck offers an occasional al fresco luncheon, afternoon tea or evening barbecue, complimented by the sea breeze. The Lido Bar also hosts daily sunset cocktails. Breakfast is served buffet style, with eggs to order. Lunch and dinner are a la carte, with a menu of both Continental cuisine and regional favorites that are a joy to pair with a selection from the ship’s fine wines.
