Her efficiency falls in line with AdventureSmith’s sustainable cruising ethos: Powered by two 526-horsepower John Deere engines, the Misty Fjord’s cutting-edge engine technology equals low emissions and high fuel efficiency. These engines are EPA Tier 11 compliant for use in commercial service and they meet both the International Maritime Organization (IMO) emission standards and the European Recreational Craft Directive standards. For efficiency and comfort, the Misty Fjord usually travels at “hull speed.” Having two engines adds a measure of additional safety.
